Discovered it by accident last week when we drove my daughter down to stay with a friend. I wasn't too sure on going in as I was afraid all the locals would stare at us as we walked in, being from out of town (Overland Park.) So glad my boyfriend made me...This place is a hidden treasure. We sat out on the patio, had the Calamari to start with (very torn between the crabcakes tho') After many minutes and 2 glasses of wine later, we finally decided on the Salmon and Catfish - wow, excellent choice. During our meal, Chef Marco came out and talked with us about his passion for the culonary arts and his enthusiasm about the restaurant and community. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is perfect; very relaxing and quaint, did not once feel unwelcome. And the food - it challenges any of those McCormick's, Capital Grille, Bristol, etc. places.
We look forward to making it one of our "favorites," dispite the 35 minute drive.

WOW! I was in for lunch the other day and have not stopped thinking about your restaurant. What a treat to have such a cool place in a small community- Baldwin is lucky to have a place like this!!

I've been in a few times. Love the food and atmosphere. The service is excellent. I was happy to see you in Blue SKY Greeen Earth. The staircase caught my eye and I knew right off it was Melange Apron. Best wishes for continued success.

Have heard a lot about the new venture. I noticed the April 29th event with Freestate. that's my birthday and would make a cool trip from Wichita to celebrate, and finally see the place. btw, the menu looks quite tasty, and that must be Sharon's handwriting.

My friend, John, introduced me to the Melange Apron today and I was very pleased to discover it. We only went there for coffee today, but I plan to return soon to try the cuisine. I don't know what it's like on weekend nights, like, is there music..., but I will also check that out. Thanks for great coffee and service (Debbie) and see you soon!

I can't wait for the grand opening tomorrow! It looks great, and I'm sure it looks even better on the inside. I'm just so excited to try it out!
